RE: Towing with minivan. Looking at SUV.

Hi Jason...It's really comes down to personal preferance..i have 2005 Xterra and i love it,i must say though when i'm not pulling anything the back suspension is very bumpy.( my 16 months\ son loves the ride in his chair but adults find it kind of annoying ). I like the ride and comfort of a mini-van and the space efficiency in a van is unbeatable...most vans or suv will tow ur pup...if ur gonna change vehicule because u want something then get something thats practical for ur everyday lifestyle..The price of gas is getting ridicules but between a CUV, SUV and Minivan ur talking a small difference of dollars and i think comfort and personal preference should sway ur choice more...that's just my opinion..good luck...( also remember if it aint broke dont change it,better something older that ur sure of then something new and unknown)...see-U

Towing with a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander

Hi everybody,my dad wants to use my 2007 Palomino Yearling 4103.His CUV can handle the PUP but we would like to use the electric brakes of the camper. The problem is he does not have a seven pin plug on his hitch. My question to you guys and gales is does anyone know where I can find a seven pin harness and brake controller for this CUV. Your input is much appreciated. Thanks

RE: anyone have any comments on this bike rack?

I'm also looking to put a bike rack on the roof, but was reluctant to screw anything to my roof. After reserching it for pretty much the whole winter I came ti the conclusion that the screw in racks are alot stabiler and sturdier than must tie down systems. It is also alot more versitile you can put bikes, canoe, kayak or storage bin( always respecting the weight ).I have an appointement to install mine next week. I already have the bike supports so I only need the bars and feet it's costing me 181$ canadian labor included.

RE: anyone with a Palomino post here!

Hi I bought a 2007 yearling 4103 end of season last year,I haven't used it yet but me brother took it out and he had a great trip.I found it was the best bang for my buck. I"m from Canada but I picked mine up in upstate NY great price good service.I can't wait to get out with it. I reserved 3 weeks in Oceancity MD and one week at the Mont Orford Provincial Park in Quebec. All I'm doing with my PUP right now is clearing the roof of the endless amount of snow that keeps falling on it...

I saw it on Amazon.com but their out of stock. Is their any other place that sells it?...by the way I'd like to thank everybody on the great input and advice that's posted on this site...

RE: Snow load on PUP roof

I take the snow off every couple of weeks first I brush of snow then once the sun beams on it for a few hours the ice breaks right off very easily..it's parked with the nose slightly down..a really sun day will make the job alot easier
